RP GUIDELINES
Random Death Match (RDM)

Players directly harming your life, property and/or freedom may be killed without warning.

Premature kills from clear but damage-less hostile intent will be allowed when 100% irrefutable video proof of the incoming hostile intent is provided. Video content will be judged by moderators. If the intent is not 100%, the kill will be concluded as RDM.

Raids can only be completed after advertising it using /advert (example "/advert raid")

Hits can only be completed if advertised (example "/advert hit accepted)

All other cases require a 10s+ second warning including a clear set of instructions delivered through typed chat (Local, Yell, or Whisper) and the 10s+ time for validity.

It is the full responsibility of the warning originator to ensure all intended targets are aware of the warning outside the vicinity of their base raid zone if/only if they ask in chat.

Anyone cannot just kill anyone simply because they see the warning in their chat, ask if you are unsure.

You can grant custom "everyone" warnings on your own leisure, bypassing the public aspect to the rule above, but with an obvious risk

As for the base raid zone, if you choose to specify targets in your raid zone before warning, others not specified cannot kill you. If you choose not to specify your targets, everyone receiving the warning in your raid zone can kill you.

If the target has completed the instructions in full, you may not kill them.

The consequence does not have to be detailed, all valid warnings are automatically a threat excluding 10 seconds demote warnings.

Ex: Leave or die you have 10 seconds!

If the receiving target of a warning and/or inducing action shows hostile intent OR ignorance of the instruction (2-second leisure), such as but not limited to specifically un-holstering/safetying a weapon/red baton, escaping, etc. then action/arrest can be made instant.

Examples of Inducing Actions: Stunsticking, Strangling, Mugging, Kidnapping, Damaging and so on
Metagaming

Your character may not use information beyond its knowledge and beyond its current life (including arrests and revives) to carry something out in roleplay. This includes but is not limited to any form of revenge killing, warrant, wanting, or demoting

Demoting someone requires visual confirmation of the violation as well as confirmation of the name tag of the model being watched. Voice chat, player models, and the TAB menu are not reliable methods of confirmation but can be used. Single mayors along with corrupt laws are an exception and may be demoted solely off of the TAB menu.
It must be removed when you are finished. Call staff if you are being tampered with to the point where you cannot physically build.

You may also have clearly visible text screen "Roleplay" signs to inform raiders that your dupe contains 0 raidable content and making it un-raidable. This sign keeps you within roleplay, unlike the Building sign. It must be removed when you plan on placing raidables, is voided by your raidables, and cannot be voided by other people planting raidables.

Hired/Working Together – You must be either hired through F4.

Customer Relationship – Whilst performing your transaction you have RP relation with your customer
Raiding and Mugging

You and those RP related with you must wait 10 minutes before performing these actions on the same person and/or base and this timer begins once the raid has concluded. Police Officers re-raiding bases for illegal infractions who did not die in the zone or players raiding out of jail by means of escaping ignore this and the time raids can last. Lastly, destroying entities is not considered raiding.

CLASS GUIDELINES
Every class has their allowances and restrictions listed on its descriptions.
Demotions
Demotions are only for people who fail to satisfy the objectives of certain jobs or Cops display corrupt behaviour. The appropriate reason must be included when demoting. Unique scenarios for demotion may be provided in the class rules below. If a staff member is online, do not demote for server rule violations. Common scenarios for demotion include:

Government Classes:

Violating custom laws. However, they can be immune to laws and hierarchy whenever they may prohibit them from performing their duties.

Receiving bribes of any kind

Refusing to enforce the laws (including the Mayor when out of grace)

Intentionally allowing freedom to prisoners from their cells along with access to their loadout (successful escape)

Mayor

Setting laws that give special treatment to a particular person or group (excluding Government when all of them are benefited)

Ignoring illegal entities such as Money Printers, Armor Stations, Drug Labs, Weed Pots, or BMI Labs

Insubordination (Disobeying lawful orders given by leadership jobs which go beyond just the Police job. There are a few exceptions where leaderships job are not required.)

Exceptions to leadership roles:

Regular cops may ask other body blocking cops to stop trespassing on property designated by the raid zone

Regular cops may utilize methods to reveal disguised Cops in PD only

Classes disguised as leadership jobs may not instruct subordinates or demote insubordinate's for incompliance

Lawful (not Laws) orders cannot force someone to do corrupt acts, must be reasonable, and cannot be overly restrictive to roleplay/gameplay elements

Vendor classes refusing to sell
Mayor Specific Rules

Mayor has the final say on building PD defences waived only to the Police Chief. Regular police may build in the PD unless told not to by the former two classes.

The mayor may not run for the next mayor vote if they have switched jobs mid-term.
Police Specific Rules

Police must only want/warrant an individual off of definite and visible infractions. This includes the following: advertisements / text screens / chats displaying explicit hits, illegal items (C4, Printers, etc.), mugs, and/or ransoms.

The content found on Security Camera screens may not be pursued.

If a player is wanted, the Police must make every attempt to arrest FIRST unless/until they unholster or unsafety a weapon.

The owners of any illegal (microwave, lab, printers, BMD table, or weed pot) must be wanted/warranted while the entity exists in the server
Warnings

Police may AOS anyone carrying a hostage or Printer Shipment
Raids / Warrants

Police cannot raid (attacking) with attacking criminals. This is a situational rule handled based on behaviour and whether or not that behaviour is a severe enough benefit to the success of an attacking raid. Your "corruption" beyond the very first obstacle instead becomes your main risk. Some actions that may or may not violate this rule are as follows:

Choosing to ignore arrestable attackers within the raid zone. If you wish to be corrupt and ignore a raid setting on the outside, it would be wise to ignore it completely by not participating at all OR waiting until the raid has finished acting. Pretending to be corrupt and then immediately cancelling that choice when defenders/enemy counter attackers arise is highly suspicious.

Choosing to focus and blatantly prioritize arrestable defenders when arrestable attackers were in a better/easier arrest opportunity

Police may do warrant-able base checks of wanted individuals whose name explicitly appears on the door, via /go ownership, or that run behind prop barricades in bases

Police may fully sweep bases they find themselves needing to warrant into.

Do not grief players props (destroying props you know will bring you 0 value)

Police may not return to raid zones they died in until the raid is over and exclude PD.
Misc.
